Kindiki Says Criticism of Kenya Kwanza Agenda Was Expected

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki says critics attack his government daily because Kenya Kwanza made bold promises during election season. The administration won votes after pledging to build an economy that helps everyone succeed together. Leaders knew their radical agenda would create controversy among voters and opposition groups. Kenya faced serious money problems when the current government took control of the country. Officials promised to share national wealth fairly across all social classes.

Kindiki spoke Thursday at a government meeting in Karen where top officials gathered to discuss their progress. The third national executive retreat gives leaders time to examine what they have accomplished since taking office. Government officials want to measure how well they have delivered concrete results to ordinary citizens. They also plan to review their communication strategies during the remaining years of their term. Leaders hope to better connect with different groups across Kenyan society.

President William Ruto defended his administration against people who claim the government made unrealistic campaign promises. He insists his team can achieve their transformation goals despite facing strong criticism from political opponents. Ruto argues that his government promised only realistic changes that officials can actually deliver to voters. The president remains confident that Kenya Kwanza will fulfill its commitments to reform the nation.
