KL monorail back to normal

Rapid KL announced that repairs for a technical malfunction at the Kuala Lumpur Monorail's Medan Tuanku station have been completed. Train services have resumed normal operations, and all alternative shuttle services have been discontinued. The company apologized for the inconvenience caused by the disruption.

Earlier, a system malfunction halted trains between Medan Tuanku and Chow Kit stations, causing significant commuter delays. Passengers were safely evacuated from the affected train with assistance from transit officers. The company's engineering team was deployed to perform the necessary repairs promptly.

During the service interruption, alternative shuttle trains operated between KL Sentral and Hang Tuah, and between Hang Tuah and Bukit Nanas. Shuttle buses also ran between Titiwangsa and Bukit Nanas stations to facilitate passenger travel.
