Knox Mutizwa bolts Golden Arrows for Richards Bay, SA

Richards Bay welcomed Knox Mutizwa as their newest acquisition during early September after the striker departed Golden Arrows. The 31-year-old athlete previously represented Highlanders and the Warriors national team before joining the South African top-flight division club. Mutizwa secured his position as a free agent following contract termination disputes with his former coach, Maqoba Mngqiti, at Golden Arrows. The footballer believes his goal-scoring record warranted continued participation at the highest level of competition.

The striker acknowledged the challenges of frequent club transfers, accepting them as part of professional sports. Mutizwa expressed appreciation toward Richards Bay management for providing him with continued employment opportunities within the Betway Premiership. The forward emphasized his eagerness to demonstrate his abilities with his new team. His recruitment represents Richards Bay's efforts to strengthen their attacking options for the current season. Mutizwa views this transition as another chance to prove his worth in South African football.
