Kunenge wants IPOSA to deliver real jobs for youth

Coast Regional Commissioner Abubakar Kunenge has instructed adult education centers to guarantee that the Integrated Programme for Out-of-School Adolescents delivers marketable competencies enabling participants to secure employment or launch independent enterprises. Addressing instructors at a recent Kibaha Municipal Council training closure, Kunenge emphasized that authorities must evaluate initiative effectiveness through graduate economic independence rather than certificate distribution volumes.

The regional administrator stated that the scheme aims to reduce illiteracy while transforming youth financial circumstances and community engagement capacity through literacy instruction, business fundamentals and practical life abilities. IPOSA targets adolescents excluded from formal schooling systems, equipping them with capabilities for meaningful contribution to local development activities and self-sufficiency.
