Highlife artist Kwaisey Pee is suing the Ghana Music Awards Europe after they allegedly bailed on their deal with him. The singer told Nana Romeo that organizers ghosted him when it came time to actually deliver on plane tickets and payment, even though they had worked out terms for him to take the stage at their show.
His team tried reaching out shortly before the event went down, and that was when organizers said they were backing out. The wild part is they kept using his photo to hype up the ceremony anyway. Kwaisey Pee says the whole situation disrespected his brand, and he believes they were just trying to milk his name for clout.
His management already hit them with legal papers, giving them two weeks to respond. If they ignore the deadline, he plans to move forward with whatever comes next.
