Abass Daniyan and his manager Abubakar Issa returned home safe Wednesday after spending weeks with kidnappers. Armed men took the two men from their gas station on May 10 near Ndeji town. Family members told reporters the victims came back to their community without harm. The men run Daniyan Saba Petroleum filling station together.
Kidnappers asked for 200 million naira but received about 100 million naira before letting the victims go. Nobody could confirm if the families paid the full amount demanded. Both men visited the Emir of Lafiagi at his palace after their release. The kidnapping happened near Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.
