Lahore launches union council cleaning drive under Suthra Punjab program

Faisalabad authorities implemented a targeted sanitation initiative across local administrative divisions as part of the provincial Suthra Punjab campaign. Deputy Commissioner Safiullah Gondal directed municipal teams to focus intensive cleaning efforts on individual union councils twice weekly. Officials selected Union Council 34 Ghafoorabad for comprehensive waste removal operations during the latest phase. Additional Deputy Commissioner Wasiq Abbas monitored field activities while coordinating with waste management personnel. District Manager Muhammad Burhan Hanif from Faisalabad Waste Management Company participated alongside supporting staff members.

Mechanical equipment removed accumulated refuse from designated collection points throughout the targeted administrative area. Workers conducted systematic waste retrieval from residential properties while simultaneously addressing debris on neighborhood thoroughfares. The operation combined heavy machinery deployment with manual collection services to ensure complete coverage. Teams addressed both major accumulation sites and smaller residential waste sources. Municipal authorities completed street-by-street sanitation work to restore cleanliness standards across the entire union council territory.
