Lavrov drags Israel for Middle East chaos at UN

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov delivered sharp criticism of Israeli military actions during his United Nations General Assembly address. He condemned Israeli forces for conducting operations across multiple Middle Eastern nations including Iran, Qatar, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq. Lavrov warned these military campaigns pose serious threats to regional stability throughout the area. The diplomat accused Israeli leadership of pursuing policies that could destabilize the entire region.

Lavrov denounced proposals from Benjamin Netanyahu's political allies regarding West Bank territory annexation. He characterized such plans as attempts to undermine established UN resolutions supporting Palestinian statehood. The Russian official questioned Western nations about their delayed recognition of Palestinian sovereignty. He suggested this timing coincided with Israel's ongoing military offensive operations.
