That Nigerian finance company Leadway is throwing another one of their Media Dash things, but this time with a real-life event. The boss, Olusakin Labeodan, called version 3.0 a lifestyle fair. It is happening over two days at the L'eola Hotel in Maryland, Lagos. The new part is the Leadway Lifestyle Fair, which is basically a free pop-up market for small businesses run by younger people to show their stuff.
Labeodan said the whole Media Dash project usually just gives away free advertising space to help these companies get seen. This edition adds the physical fair on top of that, with booths, music, and activities for kids. He framed it as part of their bigger plan to back small and medium enterprises. Any entrepreneur who wants a free spot to sell their products at the fair needs to apply through Leadway's Instagram page.
