Several stretches of the Kajang–Seremban Highway (Lekas) will be temporarily closed from the Kajang Selatan interchange to the Paroi interchange from 5 pm on Saturday to 4 am on Sunday for the 10th RHB Lekas Highway Ride 2025 cycling race.
Negeri Sembilan Police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said the closure is necessary to ensure the safety of participants in the race, which includes categories covering distances of 105km, 78km, 17km, and 12km.
The affected routes include Semenyih, Beranang, Pajam, Nilai, Mantin, Lenggeng, Setul Toll, Seremban/Temiang, Ampangan Toll, and Jelebu/Seremban, with the U-turn point at KM41.8. All race categories will start and finish at the Kajang Selatan Toll Plaza.
Motorists are advised to plan their journeys, use alternative routes, and cooperate with police officers on duty during the event.
