The Lok Sabha Secretariat announced updated membership for 24 Parliamentary Standing Committees on September 26. These legislative oversight bodies draw representatives from both houses of Parliament to review policies across sectors such as commerce, defense, education, health and finance.
Nishikant Dubey will chair the Communications and Information Technology panel while Shashi Tharoor takes charge of External Affairs. Radha Mohan Singh heads Defense and Basavaraj Bommai leads Labour, Textiles and Skill Development.
