Lukashenko Vows to Fix Zimbabwe Health Mess

Belarus wants to fix Zimbabwean hospitals with new equipment. President Lukashenko told Zimbabwe leader Mnangagwa he would help build a better medical system. Many Zimbabwean hospitals cannot treat patients because they lack basic supplies. The Belarusian leader promised to send medicines for children, women, and everyone across Zimbabwe. He believes Mnangagwa likes the Belarus health system model.

Zimbabwe faces worse health problems after losing money from the United States, which helped provide medicines. Most health centers struggle despite government claims that they work fine. Patients must carry their supplies when they visit doctors. Finance Minister Ncube agreed to let Belarus update Parirenyatwa Hospital with new equipment. Some people doubt this plan will work because Belarusian goods cost more than those from other countries.
