Maasai set to bring 1.4M votes for Ruto and Odinga

Senator Ledama Ole Kina wants to bring 1.4 million Maasai votes to President William Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. He shared this plan during a church service with President Ruto in Narok on Sunday. The senator believes uniting all Maasai voters would help the community gain better access to national resources. He sees the Ruto-Raila alliance as a perfect chance for the Maasai to increase their bargaining power for development projects.

Ledama challenged Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka's claims about 1.4 million Kamba votes. He said Maasai people from Marsabit and Kajiado would match those numbers with their support for Ruto and Odinga. The senator praised both leaders for working together in a broad-based government that promotes inclusive development. He promised the Maasai community would remain loyal to the President's administration without wavering.

Senator Ledama spoke against tribal politics, calling them unhelpful for ordinary citizens. He emphasized the need for unity rather than ethnic divisions. The senator also requested government help with basic needs like roads and water, which remain major problems for people living in Narok.
