Madhuri eyes director's chair, just not today

Madhuri Dixit discussed her career and potential future plans in an interview. The actress, famous for decades of work, said she might consider directing someday but does not feel prepared right now. She mentioned that her forty years of experience, having worked with many directors, provide a foundation, but the timing is not right. Comparing her early days in films like Abodh to now, like with Mrs Deshpande, she noted how much more organized film sets have become. She pointed out that only a few producers, such as Yash Chopra and Subhash Ghai, had very structured sets back then. Today, actors receive scripts in advance, have amenities like trailers, and do extensive preparation for their roles, a contrast to the less planned, more spontaneous environment she started in.
