Mahama flexes Ghana pride at UN, NDC cheers

Professor Andy Alhassan praised President John Dramani Mahama's United Nations address for championing African leadership on the global stage. The National Democratic Congress member from Massachusetts described the speech as a powerful call for continental recognition and respect.

Alhassan emphasized that Mahama's remarks highlighted Ghana's historical position as Africa's moral guide. The professor noted how the president reinforced the nation's dedication to justice, peace, and sustainable development during his appearance.

The academic urged Ghanaians to unite beyond party politics in support of national dignity. Alhassan stressed that protecting sovereignty requires collective effort rather than partisan division.

Ghana's role as a democratic champion continues through such international interventions, according to Alhassan. He called the address a continuation of the country's legacy of inspiring African unity and strength in worldwide governance.
