Mahere questions Zimbabwe crash response over missing heads

Fadzayi Mahere blames missing heads on a failed emergency response. She claims Wicknell Chivayo’s crash site sat unguarded from 5 pm until 8 am the next morning. Wild animals and scavengers allegedly accessed remains during those fifteen hours of darkness without floodlights or forensic teams present.

The advocate questions why bodies weren’t retrieved immediately after the helicopter went down. She argues this negligence explains why crucial body parts vanished before recovery efforts began. Dignity for victims requires functional systems that don’t leave tragedies exposed overnight like dark ages practices.

Mahere links this failure to government spending priorities favoring luxury over public services. Private jets and mansions received funding while emergency infrastructure languished without investment. She insists criticism targets systemic neglect rather than personal attacks on political elites who chant 2040 instead of fixing basics.

New leadership must replace those ignoring calls for functional public services. Vulnerable citizens deserve systems that work when needed most, including officials themselves. Political change remains necessary to ensure dignity during national tragedies.
