Malema Re-Elected as EFF President

The EFF just picked new leaders at their big meeting in Johannesburg. They met at the Nasrec Expo Centre to choose who would run the party.

No one ran against any of the top leaders. Julius Malema kept his job as party president. He told everyone he comes from ward 13 in Polokwane. He said yes when they asked him to lead again.

The party picked Godrich Gardee to help Malema as deputy president. Marshall Dlamini became the person who keeps track of everything as secretary general. Leigh-Ann Matthys got the job of helping Dlamini. Nontando Nulutshungu became the chairperson. Omphile Maotwe will take care of the money as treasurer.

People asked Malema about Mbuyiseni Ndlozi not being there. Malema didn't want to talk much about it. He said the meeting would work fine without Ndlozi. He thinks Ndlozi acts like he matters more than the whole party. Malema wanted to focus on what the party needs to do instead of talking about one person who didn't show up.

The party showed it can keep working even when important people stay away. They picked their leaders and moved forward with their plans. Everyone agreed on who should lead them for the next few years.
