Mansukh Mandaviya leads 3,000 youth on cycling rally in Varanasi, stresses fitness and anti-drug message

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya joined 3,000 young people for a cycling event at the Banaras Hindu University campus on Sunday. The minister participated in the 32nd Fit India Sundays celebration while promoting drug-free lifestyles among youth. He stressed that physical wellness creates mental strength, which helps achieve the Viksit Bharat vision. The cycling route covered campus landmarks such as Sir Sunderlal Hospital, Malviya Bhawan, and Vishwanath Temple. Participants also engaged in yoga, meditation, and Zumba activities during the fitness celebration.

Educational institutions partnered with organizers to make the event successful across more than 6,000 locations nationwide. The minister described the Sunday cycling program as a mass movement that encourages healthy habits. Several state officials and local leaders attended the Varanasi event alongside federal ministers. Mandaviya emphasized that eliminating youth addiction remains essential for national development under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
