The Zimbabwe Republic Police released the names of seven people who died during a three-vehicle crash on the Masvingo-Beitbridge highway. The deceased include Leopold Mudiwakure, aged 43, Fortune Eddington Chitsaka, aged 21, and Sithembiso Bhegedhe from Waterfalls in Harare. Danson Chidewu drove the Toyota Dyna truck and lived in Unit J, Seke Chitungwiza. Martin Mazhata, aged 41, came from Vembe Village under Chief Chaminuka in Gweru, while Takudzwa Masanganise, aged 35, resided at Zowa Farm in Zvimba. Commissioner Paul Nyathi extended official condolences to grieving families and urged motorists to exercise greater caution while driving.
