Danson Chidewu drove the Toyota Dyna truck and lived in Unit J, Seke Chitungwiza. Martin Mazhata, aged 41, came from Vembe Village under Chief Chaminuka in Gweru, while Takudzwa Masanganise, aged 35, resided at Zowa Farm in Zvimba.
