MEO and Angola Cables team up on Atlantic Portugal Brazil fiber route

MEO Wholesale Solutions teamed up with Angola Cables to boost their data center connections around the world. The two companies just signed a deal that will help them offer better phone and internet services across different countries. Angola Cables runs TelCables Europe and works as a big telecom company that connects many places. This partnership will link their computer networks and create new opportunities for business customers. The agreement focuses on making their services work better together.

The main plan connects two major data centers using underwater cables that carry internet signals. MEO runs a data center in Portugal and Angola Cables operates one in Brazil called AngoNAP Fortaleza. These centers will talk to each other through special fiber cables under the ocean. The connection will help move data faster between Europe, South America, Africa and North America. Portugal becomes the main gateway for digital traffic moving between these regions.

Samuel Carvalho from Angola Cables says this creates the first major business pathway between the Portuguese and Brazilian data centers. The setup lets information travel quickly from Europe to Brazil, the United States and African countries. MEO customers can reach 66 data centers worldwide through Angola Cables physical network. They also connect to over 930 data centers and 500 cloud services through digital networks.
