MEO runs a data center in Portugal and Angola Cables operates one in Brazil called AngoNAP Fortaleza. These centers will talk to each other through special fiber cables under the ocean. The connection will help move data faster between Europe, South America, Africa and North America. Portugal becomes the main gateway for digital traffic moving between these regions.
