Messi and Suarez dismantle NY Red Bulls in Harrison comeback

Inter Miami demolished New York Red Bulls 5-1 at Sports Illustrated Stadium after Lionel Messi netted twice against the hosts. The Argentine captain rebounded from his team's midweek 3-0 loss to FC Cincinnati with an outstanding display. Alexander Hack put the Red Bulls ahead after 14 minutes before Miami responded decisively. Former Barcelona defender Jordi Alba leveled the match on 24 minutes following Messi's assist.

Telasco Segovia struck twice for the visitors before halftime to establish control. The midfielder converted Alba's cross on 27 minutes then added another goal during stoppage time. Messi dominated the second period with two clinical finishes. Sergio Busquets released the World Cup winner with a precise pass before Messi deceived goalkeeper Carlos Coronel for the fourth goal. Luis Suarez provided the cross for Messi's second strike as Miami completed their emphatic victory.
