A social media influencer known as Michael Duarte has died following an officer-involved shooting in Castroville, Texas. The Medina County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to an emergency call about a man behaving erratically while armed with a knife. Authorities stated that a deputy shot Duarte, who later died at a hospital.

His management agency, Alooma Media Group, remembered him as a devoted father and a loyal friend.
