MiDA to apply MCC Compact models to Ghana's Grow24 initiative

Ghana's farm boss Alexander Kofi-Mensah Mould spilled the beans about a massive food project. The Millennium Development Authority chief revealed how his team will help transform the country's agriculture. President John Dramani Mahama just launched something called Grow24 that could change everything. The plan focuses on the Volta Economic Corridor project that wants to water over two million hectares of land. MiDA will take charge of making this huge farming dream come true.

The agency already proved itself with a giant $547 million American-funded project. They spent $189 million just on farming improvements and land programs. Mould says his crew learned exactly what works and what doesn't during those years. Land preparation, water systems, and smart farming methods all came together perfectly. The team will copy these winning strategies across the entire nation.

The Volta corridor will pump out tons of food for both local people and overseas buyers. Thousands of rural workers will find new jobs when the project kicks into high gear. MiDA brings serious experience from building infrastructure, energy systems, and farm businesses. Mould believes his organization can handle the technical side of this ambitious plan. The agricultural revolution could reshape how Ghana grows and sells its crops forever.
