Ministry warns students to skip sketchy rides back to school

Government officials dropped some generic travel advice while students scrambled back to class. The Ministry of Interior and National Administration told parents to keep close tabs on their offspring during the chaotic commute. These bureaucrats insisted that learners should stick to registered Saccos rather than jumping into random vehicles. Authorities also warned against moving around late at night.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen apparently wants kids to travel in packs for safety. His department told students to dodge bad crowds and stay away from narcotics while on the road. The statement also guilt-tripped drivers into caring about passenger safety instead of just chasing profits.

This guidance follows similar noise from the National Transport and Safety Authority regarding road rules. That agency demanded that vehicle owners fix their junk cars before hauling children around. NTSA specifically asked guardians to stop putting kids in non-compliant vans lacking proper insurance or inspection certificates.

Basic learning institutions just kicked off a long thirteen-week grind that runs until April. The academic calendar includes a short breather for half-term somewhere in late February. Everyone has to survive the traffic madness before worrying about grades.
