Mirna Arif ditches Egypt for bigger Microsoft role in MEA

Microsoft selected Mirna Arif for a new leadership position across the Middle East and Africa Growth Markets. Arif has previously managed Microsoft operations in Egypt since 2020 and brings two decades of regional experience. Her expanded responsibilities cover nations such as Oman, Bahrain, Kenya, Morocco, and Nigeria. The company seeks to accelerate digital transformation efforts through cloud services and artificial intelligence programs. Microsoft aims to build partnerships with government agencies and private organizations across these emerging economies.

Arif led Egypt through significant technological advances during her tenure as country manager. The tech giant plans to continue investing in workforce development and digital skills training throughout the region.
