Missing Usoltsev family fuels wild rumors as hope fades

Rescue teams have resumed searching the Siberian wilderness for the vanished Usoltsev family nearly two months after they disappeared during a hiking expedition, though investigators found no human traces inside a recently examined mountain cave. Danil Batalov, whose mother Irina Usoltseva remains among the missing alongside her husband Sergei and daughter Arisha, expressed skepticism that the trio could locate a suitable cavern shelter without prior geographical knowledge or the ability to detect airflow patterns indicating underground passages.

The 23-year-old speleologist has faced public criticism for maintaining social engagements while his relatives remain lost, defending his coping strategy as necessary psychological survival following a house fire that left him homeless. Unverified sightings have placed the family everywhere from Thailand to America, where Sergei's son from a previous marriage resides, while various psychics and spiritual practitioners continue offering theories and coordinates to volunteer searchers.
