Mnangagwa Breaks Bureaucracy as Banker Vingirai Snatches His Farms

The government gave Mr. Nicholas Vingirai his two farms back. The farms are called Doondo and Sholliver and are in Mashonaland West province. The government took the farms away from Mr. Vingirai around 2005 and said it was a mistake.

Mr. Vingirai went to the High Court. The judge said the farms belong to Mr. Vingirai and his two companies. The judge told the government to give the farms back.

Mr. Vingirai is very happy. He said it was a long, hard fight for 20 years. He thanked President Mnangagwa for helping him. The President made sure the government followed the rules and gave the farms back.

In 2005, the government thought Mr. Vingirai stole money. They took his farms away. Later, they found out he did not steal anything. The government said taking the farms was wrong.

The government made a new rule in 2020. The rule helps people get their land back if the government takes it by mistake. The rule is for people from Zimbabwe who bought land or got it from the government before the land reform.
