Mnangagwa chats with Tanzanian minister in Harare

President Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe meets with Ambassador Thabit Mahmoud Kombo at State House in Harare. Ambassador Kombo is the Tanzanian Foreign Affairs and East Africa Cooperation Minister. He came to Zimbabwe as a special envoy for Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

Ambassador Kombo will give President Mnangagwa a message from President Hassan. Right now, President Mnangagwa is the Chairperson of Sadc, a group of countries in Southern Africa that work together.

President Hassan is also an important leader in Sadc. She is the chairperson for the Organ of Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation. This part of Sadc focuses on keeping peace and security in the region.

President Mnangagwa and Ambassador Kombo are discussing ways to work together between Zimbabwe and Tanzania. They will discuss ways the two countries can cooperate and help each other. These talks are important for building strong ties between the two African nations.
