President Mnangagwa distributed agricultural equipment to war veterans through a new mechanisation initiative this Thursday in Harare. One hundred tractors reached beneficiaries nationwide as part of ongoing efforts to support liberation struggle veterans. The programme emerged after veterans requested farming equipment during meetings with the President.
Minister Dr Anxious Masuka explained that additional tractors will arrive in future shipments through an AFC bank facility arrangement. Veterans expressed gratitude for receiving the machinery and praised the President's commitment to their welfare. The tractor distribution follows the establishment of the Presidential War Veterans Fund designed to help freedom fighters develop income-generating projects.
