Mnangagwa Dumped Sanctions Drama for Chill Global Chat

President Mnangagwa believes talking helps solve world problems. He spoke at a late New Year party with foreign diplomats at State House. The President said Zimbabwe wants to talk with every country. He added that Zimbabwe makes friends with everyone.

The President pointed out that his government talks to other countries and makes new friends, which has created fresh ways to work together. He thanked all diplomats for helping build these connections and asked them to keep talking as they collaborate.

President Mnangagwa also wants talks about removing unfair sanctions. He said these sanctions hurt Zimbabwe's economy, just like bad weather does. Yet, Zimbabwe keeps going thanks to money from inside the country, citizens living abroad, and foreign investors. He praised Zimbabweans for staying strong and clever during hard times.

The President thanked nearby African countries for standing with Zimbabwe against sanctions, the Group of Friends, the Like-Minded Group, and the Non-Aligned Movement. His government plans to help everyone grow richer and protect democracy. He wants peace for all citizens.

At the meeting, the President asked diplomats to tell their countries the truth about Zimbabwe. He said Zimbabwe wants better relationships with every nation. The country welcomes business from all places. Foreign companies can invest in Zimbabwe's mines. The country's central location makes It perfect for shipping goods north and south.

Zimbabwe supports the United Nations and wants a seat on the Security Council. SADC and the African Union back this request. The President said all countries deserve equal respect. His government changes laws and starts projects to feed families and earn more money. He expects farming to grow the economy by 6 percent this year.

The government created village businesses and gardens. It drills wells in 35,000 villages. The President invited diplomats to help train villagers and find markets abroad. Zimbabwe wants rural people to live better lives and help feed the world. It builds dams and fixes water systems to fight climate change. These projects need partners and investors.

President Mnangagwa asked ambassadors to bring more business to Zimbabwe factories. He thanked them for showing tourists that Zimbabwe is a fun place to visit. The President said all parts of the country need more tourists. He wants more people to travel between Zimbabwe and other places.

Africa plans to increase the value of its natural resources through science and new ideas. The President asked diplomats to help with this. Zimbabwe hopes for good news about paying off old debts. He thanked the countries that sent help during last year's drought. Their kindness showed how unity beats problems.

As head of SADC, Zimbabwe pushes new ideas for growth and making things. The President works for peace in eastern Congo through regional groups. He calls for fighting to stop and talks to begin. He asks other countries to help people forced from their homes. Rwanda's Ambassador James Musoni promised to support President Mnangagwa's leadership.
