Police say ignore online Geza hype and chill

Zimbabwe cops tell everyone to stay away from troublemakers who want to mess up the country. These bad actors use Facebook and Twitter to scare and worry regular people. The police shared this message earlier today.

The head police officer, Paul Nyathi, said his team already sent officers everywhere—both on city streets and in countryside villages. These cops want normal life to continue without problems. They ask regular citizens to help them spot anyone causing trouble or blocking roads.

Mr. Nyathi made clear that peaceful conditions exist right this minute across Zimbabwe. He wants everyone to keep working and shopping as normal. Any person or group trying to ruin the peace will face legal consequences. The police shared phone numbers for reporting suspicious activity.

This announcement came right after wanted man Blessed Runesu Geza posted a new YouTube clip yesterday. In the clip, Geza is seen wearing army clothes and hiding from authorities. He begs citizens from all corners of Zimbabwe to join massive street protests. He wants President Mnangagwa gone by Monday.
