Modi accuses Congress of backing Pakistan terrorists

Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress party of supporting Pakistan-sponsored terrorism during his Sunday address in Assam's Darrang district. He criticized the opposition for allegedly protecting infiltrators rather than backing the Indian armed forces during Operation Sindoor. Modi claimed Congress had historically failed to support the military against anti-national elements.

The prime minister praised Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for removing encroachers from agricultural land. He promised the BJP would prevent demographic changes that threaten national security. Modi contrasted his party's infrastructure achievements with Congress's limited bridge construction over the decades.

Modi announced healthcare and infrastructure projects worth 6,300 crore rupees during the ceremony. The initiatives encompass Darrang Medical College, nursing facilities, and major transportation links. He emphasized Assam's 13 percent growth rate under dual government leadership, while promoting domestic goods purchases to drive economic advancement.
