Modi serves up World Food India, 90 countries crash Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches World Food India 2025 Thursday evening at six o'clock. The event establishes India as a global food processing and supply center. More than ninety nations participate alongside two thousand exhibitors representing the complete agricultural value chain. Stakeholders range from farmers to retailers in this massive international gathering.

Knowledge sessions feature global thought leaders discussing industry innovations and policy developments. Exhibitions showcase food processing technology, packaging solutions, and cold chain infrastructure advances. The Food Safety Standards Authority hosts the Global Food Regulators Summit simultaneously. The Seafood Exporters Association organizes the India International Seafood Show as a parallel event.

New Zealand and Saudi Arabia serve as partner nations while Japan, UAE, Vietnam, and Russia participate as focus countries. The initiative supports the Viksit Bharat 2047 development vision through five core principles. These foundations emphasize sustainability, infrastructure development, entrepreneurship, global leadership, and technological innovation.
