Modi to unveil Rs 2200 crore Varanasi projects and release PM-KISAN funds on Saturday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Varanasi on Saturday for a major development initiative. The visit centers around projects valued at approximately Rs 2,200 crore across multiple sectors. Modi plans to address citizens at 11 a.m. during the public event. The prime minister will distribute the twentieth PM-KISAN payment to farmers nationwide. This transfer delivers Rs 20,500 crore directly to 9.7 crore agricultural workers.

Transportation improvements feature prominently in the announcement schedule. Modi will open completed road expansions between Varanasi and the Bhadohi area. A new railway overbridge at Hardattpur receives its inauguration during the ceremony. Additional infrastructure groundwork begins for various road enhancement projects. Power system upgrades worth Rs 880 crore will commence through intelligent distribution networks and underground cable installations.

Cultural preservation efforts gain momentum through heritage site restoration work. Eight riverfront locations undergo redevelopment for enhanced tourism appeal. The prime minister will begin restoration projects at Kardameshwar Mahadev Temple and other historic landmarks.
