Mohamed Camara seals new Asante Kotoko deal, Kumasi fans brace for 2025 season

Asante Kotoko will extend Mohamed Richard Camara's contract through 2028 after the Guinean goalkeeper impressed during his debut campaign with the Porcupine Warriors. The 25-year-old displaced Frederick Asare as the club's primary goalkeeper following his arrival on a two-year agreement before the previous season began. Camara recorded eight clean sheets across 17 league matches while helping secure the FA Cup championship with a victory over Golden Kick FC in the final. The shot-stopper brings experience from Guinea Premier League clubs AS Kaloum and SOAR Académie SC, along with two appearances for his country's senior national team. Kotoko expects the goalkeeper to anchor their defense as they pursue continental competition and domestic silverware next season.
