Mohammed Bello nabbed in Dabanyin robbery, clutching Tecno Spark 20

Police grabbed Mohammed Bello after a nasty robbery hit drivers and passengers near Gomoa Buduatta Junction. The Central East Regional Police Command says Bello worked with four other crooks who attacked people at half past midnight on July 6th. The gang pointed guns at victims and stole their money and personal stuff during the scary incident. Officers found loads of stolen goods when they searched Bello after catching him. The suspect helped the gang pull off the coordinated attack at Dabanyin.

Cops discovered almost 4,000 cedis in cash plus phones, a power bank, and other personal items. Bello had Samsung smartphones, a Tecno Spark 20, and an Itel keypad phone stashed away. Police also found a lady's purse, cigarettes, a watch, headset, and phone charger. One victim even identified a pair of sandals that belonged to them. The stolen goods proved Bello took part in the violent crime.

Four people ended up in the hospital with gunshot wounds from the attack. The victims praised police for moving fast to catch one of the robbers. Officers are using intelligence work to track down the other four gang members who escaped. The Central East Regional Police Command wants anyone affected by the robbery to contact them. Police promise they will arrest all the accomplices and make sure they face serious charges.
