The family of the late singer Mohbad has formally prohibited his widow, Wunmi, from using their Aloba surname. This action is pending the results of a DNA test to establish the paternity of their son, Liam.
The family head, Omolayo Aloba, and Mohbad's father, Joseph Aloba, stated in a joint announcement that no statutory or customary marriage was completed between Wunmi and the deceased. They have appointed Oladayo Ogungbe as their exclusive legal representative for the paternity case and estate matters.
