Mohsin Naqvi orders sweeping FIA reforms, vows crackdown on smuggling in Islamabad

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived at the Federal Investigation Agency headquarters in Islamabad to announce major reforms and anti-smuggling measures. The minister honored fallen officers by placing flowers at their memorial and conducting prayers before leading a strategic planning session. He ordered immediate updates to legal frameworks and approved advanced equipment and weapons for agency personnel.

Naqvi established strict policies against human trafficking operations that damage Pakistan's reputation globally. Airport immigration processes will receive improvements through express service lanes for travelers. The minister demanded recruitment for all empty positions and modernized training programs for staff members.

Officials received instructions to restore the main building and relocate the training academy to new property. The Karachi office will undergo similar renovation work. Director General Raja Riffat Mukhtar presented current organizational changes to the minister. State Minister Talal Chaudhry and other senior officials attended the comprehensive briefing session.
