MSCE Brainiacs Jet Off to Cahora Bassa Dam

The top ten students who score highest on Malawi's school leaving exams will win a trip to see a famous dam. These winners will travel to Mozambique to visit Cahora Bassa Dam after their tests end. The school exams start July 1st and students across the country are working harder because of this reward. Officials hope the prize will push more kids to study better and compete for top grades.

Ernest Kaonga runs Maranatha Academy and announced this news at a student farewell event. He wants young people in Malawi to aim higher and work harder for their dreams. The trip will show students how other countries build major projects and develop their economies. Kaonga believes seeing these achievements will inspire students to think about their future careers. The school also started working with Sharda University from India to offer distance learning programs.

Sydney Chiwengo represents Sharda University and supports the partnership between the two schools. The university wants to help more Malawian students access higher education without leaving their home country. These online programs cost less and work around student schedules. Students who live far from cities or cannot afford regular college can still earn degrees. Both schools want to make education easier for everyone to reach.
