MTN, Yango court ride-hail drivers in Côte d'Ivoire with new pact

MTN Côte d'Ivoire established a partnership with ride-hailing platform Yango to support drivers across the West African nation. The telecommunications provider offers enhanced connectivity solutions and cost reductions to Yango's driver network. Partner drivers gain access to unlimited data services, specialized fleet communication packages, and discounted rates for internet and messaging. The collaboration generates monthly savings of at least 10,000 CFA francs for participating drivers. This arrangement advances MTN's vision of creating comprehensive connectivity throughout the region.

MTN Business Managing Director Honoré Kouamé welcomed the opportunity to serve Yango's driver community with tailored telecommunications products. The partnership aligns with MTN's strategy to expand customer service offerings across different sectors. Yango Côte d'Ivoire Country Director Kadotien Soron emphasized the platform's commitment to helping drivers increase their earnings through better service access. Both companies recognize the importance of supporting the transportation industry's growth. The alliance creates economic opportunities for drivers while strengthening the ride-hailing ecosystem through innovative telecommunications solutions.
