Murkomen calls for unity and trust between police and civilians in Kenya

Interior boss Kipchumba Murkomen wants police officers and regular people to trust each other again. He thinks police stations should bring cops and citizens together like one big family. Murkomen believes community policing will help everyone work as a team during tough times. He told officers they can only arrest troublemakers who cause violence during protests. People have the right to march peacefully but cannot destroy property or hurt others.

Nairobi lawmakers told young people not to let politicians use them for personal gain. These leaders warned that criminals and power-hungry politicians have taken over what started as honest protests about bad government. Violence has replaced peaceful marching as shops get robbed and businesses get destroyed. The lawmakers asked youth to stay alert and avoid becoming tools for selfish political games. They also told other leaders to put the country first instead of chasing personal power.
