President Museveni administered oaths to three senior justice sector officials during campaign activities in the Bugisu sub-region, installing Aisha Naluzze Batala as Inspector General of Government, Jane Frances Abodo as Principal Judge, and Lino Anguzu as Director of Public Prosecutions. The Mbale ceremony included Deputy Inspectors General Okiria and Anne Twino, both continuing in their roles after reappointment.
Museveni credited Naluzze, a former High Court jurist, with providing experienced legal insight to oversight operations while she committed to aggressive anti-corruption measures through the inspectorate. Abodo moved from her previous prosecution director role to the bench position that Anguzu now occupies in the public prosecutions office.
