Mustafizur and Taskin dismantle Pakistan for 110 in Dhaka

Bangladesh's bowling attack dismantled Pakistan for 110 runs during the opening Twenty20 International at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. Mustafizur Rahman delivered his career-best T20I figures by claiming two wickets while conceding just six runs across four overs. Taskin Ahmed captured three wickets for 22 runs and secured two dismissals in the final over. Tanzim Hasan Sakib contributed one wicket for 20 runs to complete the bowling effort. The Tigers restricted their opponents through consistent pressure and strategic bowling changes.

Pakistan began aggressively by accumulating 32 runs during the opening three overs before regular wicket losses halted their progress. Fakhar Zaman led the batting effort with 44 runs while Abbas Afridi added 22 runs to the total. The visiting team failed to maintain their early momentum against disciplined bowling. Bangladesh requires 111 runs to secure victory and establish a 1-0 advantage in the three-match series. The chase presents an achievable target for the home team.
