Police arrested three people in Mutare for stealing $25,000 cash. The group included two 16-year-old teens and one 39-year-old man named Munyararadzi Madzure. They spent the stolen money on a Honda Fit car and three expensive iPhones. The theft happened in the Chikanga area of Mutare.
Zimbabwe Republic Police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi announced the arrests following the March 14 incident. He confirmed that the suspects took the cash directly from the victim. Law enforcement acted quickly and found both the vehicle and all three phones. The stolen items have been taken back into police custody.
