Myanmar, India military chiefs discuss border security, ties

Myanmar's military chief General Kyaw Swa Lin sat down with Indian Ambassador Abhay Thakur at some villa in Nay Pyi Taw to hash out how their armies can work better together. They talked about keeping border zones stable, swapping training programs, and basically staying tight since the countries share a fence line.

The general brought up Myanmar sticking to those Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence from way back, and they touched on what happens after the elections wrap up. Senior officers from the commander-in-chief's office tagged along with India's defense attaché Colonel Jaswinder Singh Gill, and everyone posed for photos after the meeting ended.
