Myanmar Press Council celebrated another batch of media students who finished their training program yesterday. The ceremony took place at the council headquarters located in Botahtaung Township within Yangon Region. Leaders from the organization handed out completion certificates to all participants who attended the special event. Dr Tin Tun Oo and U Khin Maung Kyaw Din both delivered speeches during the graduation festivities. Council officials and teaching staff joined together to recognize the hard work of these aspiring journalists.
Students learned about four different topics during their media education journey. U Khin Maung Zaw taught them about International Relations concepts and global affairs. U Thike Htun shared knowledge about Broadcasting Media techniques and methods. U Min Myat Soe Moe explained App Monetization strategies for digital platforms. Dr Tin Aung covered Media Counter skills and related practices.
The program kicked off on June 13 and met every Friday for several weeks. Students attended what organizers called the Friday Class sessions without paying any fees. The Myanmar Press Council plans to keep running these educational programs for future groups. Both staff members and outside experts will teach upcoming classes for interested media professionals.
