KIAMBU, Kenya - Two families are looking for answers after their loved ones were found dead in Kiambu County. The men had been missing for days before their bodies were discovered.
John Muchiri Muthoni, 27, was one of the victims. His naked body was on the side of Banana-Kiambu Road on Saturday. Mr. Muthoni was last seen alive on January 3rd.
"We don't know what happened to him," said Hussein Khalid, the CEO of Vocal Africa. Mr. Khalid confirmed it was Mr. Muthoni's body that was found.
The police took the body to a nearby hospital. They will do an autopsy to find out how he died. Michael Muchiri, the police chief in Kiambu, said they are looking into what occurred.
Ian Singoe was the other man found dead. The 21-year-old had been missing from Bomet since December 31st. His body was in the Mwiki area of Kasarani.
