Myvi civil servant nabbed after Bangi toll brawl says ACP Naazron

Authorities detained a government employee following a traffic collision and confrontation with another motorist at Selangor's Bangi toll plaza. The 25-year-old suspect surrendered to Kajang Police Headquarters at 9.50 pm yesterday. Officers confiscated his Perodua Myvi vehicle from the Dang Wangi location. Police Chief ACP Naazron Abdul Yusof confirmed the individual faces charges under Section 279 of the Penal Code and Rule 6 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959. A magistrate approved a one-day remand to facilitate the investigation.

The victim filed her complaint at 7.50 pm on Friday after the morning incident. At 6.10 am, the suspect's vehicle struck the left front section of the woman's car while she traveled to work. Both drivers stopped roadside, where an argument ensued. The male driver accused the 31-year-old complainant of changing lanes without proper signals. Police continue examining evidence from the dangerous driving case.
