Nadowli-Kaleo DCE Mary Haruna targets roads, jobs, and health care

District Chief Executive Mary Haruna pledged accelerated development for Nadowli-Kaleo through infrastructure improvements and social programs. She coordinates with Regional Coordinating Council officials to prioritize feeder road construction and rehabilitation projects. Current road conditions limit access to markets, schools, and medical facilities across rural communities. Transportation challenges affect economic growth and service delivery throughout the district.

Haruna targets youth unemployment through government flagship programs like YouStart and National Entrepreneurship Innovation Programme partnerships. The Assembly supports vocational training and agricultural job creation schemes for local residents. Healthcare initiatives focus on completing abandoned Community-based Health Planning Services compounds and deploying medical workers to remote areas. Education efforts emphasize timely material supplies, classroom upgrades, and teacher motivation programs. The DCE appeals for government, development partners, and private investors to fund road infrastructure, medical facilities, and livelihood programs.
