Nandom Chief Cheers Chief Imam Over Ramadan Wrap Up

The Chief of Nandom came to see the National Chief Imam after Ramadan ended. Naa Professor Edmund Nminyem Delle Chiir VIII wanted to congratulate Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu personally. Their meeting shows how leaders from different faiths can work together in Ghana. They both believe religious and traditional leaders should join forces for peace.

Naa, Prof. Delle Chiir VIII practices Catholicism himself. He has worked as a skin doctor and businessman for over 50 years. During his visit, he praised the Chief Imam for bringing people together across Ghana. He called Sheikh Sharubutu a father figure who helps keep the nation secure and peaceful.

The Chief Imam thanked his visitor through an interpreter and prayed for the Nandom Chief's health and success. Sheikh Sharubutu stressed that religious and traditional leaders must keep talking to help Ghana grow. He sees this meeting as just the start of stronger connections between them.

Several important people attended the meeting with both leaders. These included Alhaji Abdul Lateef, who handles protocol matters, and Sheikh Armiyau Shaibu, who speaks for the Chief Imam. Their presence highlighted how much both sides value these relationships. This kind of cooperation between different faiths helps Ghana stay stable and move forward as everyone works toward common goals.
